Promotional launch of Samsung’s new retail stores in 3 markets.

In the beginning of 2019, Samsung opened 3 new flagship retail stores in LA, Houston and Long Island, NY. We were tasked with the job of creating a press-worthy reveal of these stores, specifically highlighting their UNPACKED product announcements. We created a combination of traditional and experiential out of home activations as well as unexpected programming that created brand love and brought people into the stores for the first time.

To drive mall-goers into the stores we created the Samsung Portals, a clever piece of out of home that stopped people in their tracks. When guests approached the portal, a sensor served up an animated invitation to the store. Sleek design and LED animation within the portals created a natural photo moment and teased the UNPACKED event.
