OCULUS GO NYC

A product launch event and art installation.

To promote the launch of Oculus Go, an innovation that can truly transport you anywhere, we told the product’s story through a large sculptural installation. A spotlit Go headset on a platform with the prompt to "Open Your Eyes" greeted guests as they entered the space. As if bursting forth from the headset, a 70 foot long suspended mobile installation made up of key elements from Go content became the focal point for the space.

The space was designed to encourage organic photo moments, with sleek product displays, tiered cubed seating and dramatic lighting effects. Guests could freely explore the space and demo the product with the help of a 1-on-1 brand ambassador. This 2 day pop-up saw key influencers, press and the public in an experience that showed the new accessibility of VR and a shift towards a more consumer-focused audience for Oculus.
