Taking Android Wear to new places with The MISSION
Nixon had a mission. A mission to create the most rugged smartwatch on the market. Specifically made for surfers and snowboarders, The Mission is the first waterproof device of it's kind and features a touchscreen that can be used with a wet finger. We were tasked with developing the Android wear custom faces and companion phone app for the product.
We worked closely with Nixon's Design parter Cinco to bring to life the custom Surf and Snow faces. The faces track the swells and snow levels across the world's best shred spots. Wearers can set Shred Alerts on the companion app and then receive notifications on their watch when conditions are ideal in their favorite spots.
