30+ activations and theater screening space to woo Emmy voters.

In its 3rd year, Netflix continued to reinvent Emmy campaigning at FYSEE 2019, with an engaging, interactive experience at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA. Distinguishing itself from the typical FYC events, Netflix hosted up to 500 attendees each night to a multi-stage experience where they were treated to exclusive screenings, panels and Q&A sessions with top industry talent, followed by an immersive installation showcasing Netflix’s most talked about titles.

The activation floor consisted of several larger feature builds for the shows that were favorites. One of the standouts was Our Planet. We created an immersive and tactile way to experience the amazing footage from this documentary film. Using a stretch fabric screen and a kinect technology, we allowed guests to control what they saw on the screen by pressing into it – a metaphor for the impact we have on our natural world. Active Theory helped to bring this concept to reality.
